Route Service Representative

As a well-established wholesale bakery, we are growing and looking for aggressive/self starters for Route Sales delivery positions. Chosen employees will be responsible for early morning delivery of our bakery products on a timely basis to grocery stores, restaurants, schools, etc. Each territory offers excellent potential for establishing new accounts.

Continual support is offered to ensure your success by providing training and handheld computers.

Starting pay $850.00 per week while training. Once trained as a Route Sales person you earn base plus commission with potential pay $75,000 to $95,000. Full benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, pension and paid vacation.

As a Route Service Representative you’ll:

Order product and service assigned accounts with optimal distribution
Contribute and participate as part of a Sales team
Sell displays to drive incremental sales
Racks set according to guidelines
Execute promotions
Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash
Typically work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with early morning start times

This might be the job for you if:

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Have DSD experience (preferred, but will train)
Are computer literate, Hand-Held Computer (HHC) preferred
Are able to provide a high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise
Are able to frequently lift or carry products weighing approximately 50-75 lbs
Possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Are able to drive company provided truck weighing 16,000-26,000 lbs
